The Australian Training Visa (subclass 407) is a temporary visa that allows you to participate in workplace-based training to enhance your skills in your current occupation, area of tertiary study, field of expertise, or in a professional development capacity.

According to a report, there were 309,900 jobs listed in Australia in August 2022, a 42% rise over the previous year. Top of the list is the demand for nurses which is predicted to have over 100,000 shortage by the year 2025 and more than 123,000 shortage by the year 2030. 

As we move forward to a new financial year, Australian states and territories are awaiting confirmation from the Australian Government for the nomination allocation for the 2022-2023 program year. Despite that, Tasmania and Western Australia have already released information regarding the changes to their skilled visa nomination requirements.
