Visa Processing time
Processing times for the Entrepreneur Stream (Permanent) Visa (SC 888E) process will vary depending on various factors. To give you an idea of what to expect, here's an estimated timeline of how long your visa application may take to process.
50% of applications: Processing time is 19 months
90% of applications: Processing time is 30 months

Check your qualifications
Aside from having a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa under the Entrepreneur Stream, you also need to fulfill these specific requirements:

Unless COVID-19 concessions apply, you must have held a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa under the Entrepreneur Stream for a continuous period:
For at least 3 years, if you were invited to apply for this visa on or after 1 July 2021, or
For at least 4 years, If you were invited to apply for this visa before 1 July 2021.

Unless COVID-19 concessions apply, you must have resided in Australia for:
at least 2 years of the 4 years while holding the said visa if you were invited to apply before 1 July 2021 or
at least 2 years while holding the said visa if you were invited to apply on or after 1 July 2021.

Part of your qualification for this visa is to demonstrate a successful entrepreneurial activity. To assess your entrepreneurial activities, you will need to show either:
2 key success factors, or
1 key success factor and 3 supporting success factors
Key success factors are as follows:
employing 2 or more Australians, permanent residents, or other eligible persons
generating an annual turnover of at least AUD300,000
filing a provisional patent or acquiring a standard or innovation patent
receiving ongoing funding or investment in your entrepreneur activity
entering into a partnership with a university
selling an entrepreneurial venture for AUD2 million
Supporting success factors are as follows:
adapting your entrepreneurial activities into other business areas
receiving a statement of success from a state or territory government nominator
receiving sponsorship from the corporate sector
starting at least 1 other business or contributing to at least 2 other businesses
receiving formal awards or recognition
raising or contributing to social capital
Prohibited entrepreneurial activities:
residential real estate
labour hire
buying an existing enterprise or a franchise in Australia
Gather Documents
You will need to prove your identity and provide documents about your business and assets. Although you don’t need to write another expression of interest, the state or territory needs to confirm that your nomination is still current.
Cost
This visa costs AUD3,310.00 for the main applicant, and you will be charged for each family member who applies for this visa with you.
Any applicant 18 years old or older who has less than functional English must also pay an extra charge which is called the second instalment charge. The second instalment charge will cost you AUD4,890.
