870 Visa - Sponsored Parent (Temporary)
Subclass 870 Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa is a temporary visa that allows an adult child who is at least 18 years old and is either an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or settled eligible New Zealand citizen who has been usually resident in Australia for at least 4 years, to sponsor their parent(s) to live temporarily in Australia for up to 3 or 5 years.

103 Visa - Parent Visa (Permanent)
This permanent visa lets a parent of a settled Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to move to Australia. New Parent and Aged Parent visa applications lodged that meet the criteria to be queued are likely to take at least 30-50 years for final processing

804 Visa - Aged Parent Visa
Subclass 804, Aged Parent visa, is a permanent visa allowing older parents who hold a temporary visa and wish to gain permanent residency in Australia. The applicant's sponsoring child must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen.

143 Visa - Contributory Parent Visa
This is a permanent visa referred to as a “Contributory” visa. This is because the initial application fee is $4,225 for the first applicant and $1,425 for a spouse. However the second installment for each applicant is $43,600. This visa takes approximately 3.5 to 4.5 years to process and is a permanent visa from approval.

173 Visa - Contributory Temporary Parent Visa
This is a temporary visa with an initial Australian government fee of $2,850 and $1,425 for spouses. Before the visa is granted the second installment of $29,130 is required to be paid. This visa takes approximately 3 to 3.5 years to process. The applicants are granted a 2-year temporary visa. Before this visa expires they must pay an additional $19,420 and apply for the permanent visa subclass 143.

864 Visa - Contributory Aged Parent Visa (Permanent) (Onshore)
This is a permanent visa referred to as a “Contributory” visa. This is because the initial application fee is $3,770 for the first applicant and $1,880 for a spouse. However, the second installment for each applicant is $43,600. This visa takes approximately 2.5 to 4 years to process and is a permanent visa from approval.

884 Visa - Contributory Aged Parent Visa
This is a temporary visa with an initial Australian government fee of $3,945 and $1,975 for spouses. Before the visa is granted the second installment of $29,130 is required to be paid. This visa takes approximately 1.5 to 2 years to process. The applicants are granted a 2-year temporary visa. Before this visa expires they must pay an additional $19,420 and apply for the permanent visa subclass 864.
