Expression of Interest (EOI)

An Expression of Interest (EOI) is a method of showing your interest in applying for a skilled visa to migrate to Australia. EOI is a very important part of applying for certain Australian work visas. In order to be eligible to receive an invitation, prospective applicants must lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI). The purpose of the EOI is to submit the prospective applicant’s point score for consideration in subsequent invitation rounds and identify which subclass they are looking to apply for and if they are seeking a nomination. For the purposes of state nomination, applicants may be required to lock in their preferred state in Australia that they would like to live and work in. It is crucial to consistently check for state nomination openings and inform clients if they are eligible to do so as state nomination provides extra points that can help strengthen their application.
