300 Visa - Prospective Marriage
If you are planning to marry an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen, and you are located outside of Australia, you may consider applying for a prospective marriage visa, also commonly known as a fiancé visa. The Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300) is for persons seeking entry to Australia to marry their prospective spouse and with a view to remaining in the country permanently.

820 Visa - Temporary Partner (Onshore)
The 820 visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian Citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily. The Applicant must be onshore when an 820 visa is applied. PR pathway: Subclass 820 visa holders can apply Permanent Partner Visa Subclass 801, 2 years after the lodgment date of 820

801 Visa - Permanent Partner Visa (Onshore)
The 801 visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia permanently. The 801 is also being provided for applicants who are in a genuine and continuing relationship. And lastly this visa can be applied 2 years from the lodgment date of temporary onshore partner visa, 820.

309 Visa - Temporary Partner (Offshore)
The 309 Offshore Partner visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian Citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily. 309 visa is a 2 stage partner visa. The first stage, subclass 309, is a temporary visa the applicant and their sponsor must lodge while the main applicant is outside Australia. If granted, the visa holder can enter Australia while waiting for the second stage visa subclass 100. Subclass 100 is a permanent visa granted to the main applicant provided that they prove their continuing commitment with their partner.

100 Visa - Permanent Partner Visa (Offshore)
This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian Citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, live in Australia permanently. This visa is being granted to people who hold temporary offshore partner visas (Subclass 309). This visa can be applied 2 years from the lodgment date of subclass 309.

461 Visa - New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship
The New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship Visa Subclass 461 is a temporary visa that allows an applicant to live, work and study in Australia for up to five years. This visa is for people who are in a relationship with a New Zealand Citizen who either holds or are eligible to hold a Special Category Subclass 444 Visa.
