Overview
As a way to assess your qualification, your EOI will be scored based on each critical factor.
The applicant's age bracket will determine the number of points available. If the applicant is above the age of 55, no points will be allocated for age, we will need to request an age limit waiver for applicants over 55.
English language level
The new business migration subclasses do not have a minimum English language requirement. However, applicants who have less than functional English proficiency will be required to pay an English Language Charge before their visas can be issued.
Qualifications
Qualifications must either be awarded by an Australian institution or recognised overseas institution.
Business experiences
Applicants can claim earn points for relevant experience in the stream they are applying for. For example, in the business innovation stream, work experience as a business owner would be considered relevant and eligible for points.

Financial assets
Points will be available for net personal assets held for the last 2 financial years:
Business turnover
Points will be granted based on the turnover of a business owned by the applicant. To be eligible, the turnover threshold must have been met for at least two out of the last four years prior to the application.
Innovation
Points can be awarded in several items under the business innovation qualifications.
Age
Special endorsement from an Australian State or Territory
State and Territory Governments can provide support to applicants by confirming that their proposed business would bring unique and significant benefits to the respective state or territory. As a result, the visa applicant will receive 10 points.
