Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)

Overview

The MLTSSL is a list of skilled occupations that can be sponsored through the Medium-Term Stream for a TSS visa.

If your occupation is on the MLTSSL then your visa will be granted for either one, two, three, or four years. It will be up to the sponsoring employer to decide how many years they will nominate you for. The reason they may not nominate you for a maximum of four years is that they will have to pay an upfront levy to the Australian Government for each nominated year.

Unlike occupations on the STSOL, you can reapply for a new visa as many times as you like both in and outside of Australia. You will need an employer willing to nominate you each time.
