Subclass 188A (Provisional)Suitable for business owners who would like to establish, develop and manage a new or existing business in Australia. This stream is points-tested and a state nomination is required.
  • Overall successful business & investment career
  • Current business turnover of $750k (for 2 out of the last 4 fiscal years)
  • Personal assets of $1.25 million
  • Be under the age of 55 years old (exemptions may apply)
  • Achieve at least 65 points on the EOI
  • Already own or willing to invest and set up a business in Australia
    • Subclass 888A (Permanent)This is a permanent visa where holders of the Subclass 188A, 444 or certain 457 might be eligible if you are able to show ongoing business involvement and the annual business turnover is AUD$300k.
  • Have a current nomination from a state or territory
  • Have held ownership interest in the Australian business for the last 2 years
  • Have an ABN & lodged Business Activity Statement for the last 2 years
  • Business annual turnover of at least AUD$300k (12 months before application)
