Opportunities for Indian nationals in Australia this 2024

Highlights

Australia's new migration strategy notably impacted student visa and temporary visa holders. However, some of these changes exempt international students and skilled migrants from India, creating more opportunities for Indian nationals.

Although Indian nationals will not be affected by the new TGV stay duration, it doesn’t guarantee that they can access the post-study work rights extension.

Indian students, like all other international students, will no longer have access to the two-year extended post-study work rights for study in areas of skills needed. Only applicants who studied in a regional area will be eligible for an extension.
