The Victorian government is now opening doors for skilled visa candidates with eligible occupations in the health, teaching, or social services fields. As long as they meet the minimum visa requirements, candidates can now enjoy the option for a fast-track nomination.
Fast-track nomination for skilled visa candidates
Fast-track nomination is now available for skilled visa candidates with an eligible health, teaching, or social services occupation. If a Registration of Interest (ROI) includes a fast-track nomination occupation, it will be selected for visa nomination within two weeks of submission. Also, if the applicant satisfies all the visa requirements, a Victorian visa nomination will be granted within five business days.
Note: The standard process will still be used for candidates who do not have a fast-track nomination occupation.

Minimum visa nomination requirement
Aside from having an eligible occupation, the candidate must also meet the minimum visa requirement to qualify for a visa nomination in Victoria. To be eligible, you must:
have 65 points on your SkillSelect EOI,
be competent in English,
have a valid skills assessment for your occupation,
be under 45 years of age,
be committed to living in Victoria.
