Reduce staff turnover - overseas skilled migrant will only be able to work for the sponsor
Able to hire highly skilled workers for specific industries or contract work
Plan for expansion or bring in international expertise & outside thinking
Available options
Under the work visa category, the following options are available:
Subclass 407 Training Visa
Subclass 482 Temporary Skill Shortage Visa

Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) for Employer sponsored visas
The Australian government has also added a new measure for COVID-19 recovery by introducing the PMSOL which identifies 44 occupations that will fill critical skills. Getting started
Standard Business Sponsorship
If employer is not already an approved standard business sponsor or have not executed a labour agreement with the Australia government you would need to apply be one and the requirements are as follows:
Be a lawfully operating business in Australia
Have no relevant adverse information against the business
Have demonstrated commitments to employing local labour
Once approved, the sponsorship will be valid for at least 5 years. If awarded accredited status, employer will receive priority processing of all nomination and visa applications.
Nomination of position
The next step is to nominate the applicant for a position based on their occupation. For a positive outcome, the following must be met:
Nomination of the application is under an eligible occupation and is genuine
Provide evidence of Labour Market Testing (LMT) unless exemptions apply
Minimum salary of AUD$53,900 per annum or higher (depending on the market salary rate for the position)
Visa application
Once the sponsorship & nomination is completed, we will then need to start preparing the documents necessary for the visa application. This is where we will need to prove that the applicant meets all other requirements such as age, English proficiency and qualification.
