The Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate Visa is intended for international students who have either recently graduated with a degree from an Australian institution or with skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations that fits with Australia’s labour demands. If you have studied in Australia for at least 2 years, you might be eligible for the Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate Visa.

Graduate work stream
This stream requires a positive skills assessment and allows you to live and work in Australia for 18 months. The Subclass 485 Graduate Work Stream is applicable for applicants that attained their first student visa before November 2011.
post-study work stream
This stream is stream does not require a skills assessment as long as you have met the Australian Study Requirement of 2 years. The Subclass 485 Post-Study Work Stream is applicable for applicants whose first student visa is after November 2011.
