About Subclass 143
A Contributory Parent visa or Subclass 143 is intended for parents of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens to permanently migrate and settle in Australia. This is a permanent residency visa with a shorter processing time.

- Have a sponsor living in Australia who meets the requirements
- You have an Assurance of Support (AOS)
- Must be 18 years old or above.
