NSW has been ranked as Australia’s best performing economy, with business and investment opportunities in abundance.
From August 2016, the NSW Department of Industry are implementing a shorter processing time for assessing Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132) applications for nominations. Regional NSW continues to drive economic growth, gaining an additional 30,400 jobs over the past 12 month according to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
NSW Department of Industry is pleased to announce another improvement to the NSW migration program. The NSW Migration have put together a new ‘How to apply’ factsheet, available in English and Chinese, to support businesses and investor migrants understand the visa options available to them.
The Business Talent (Permanent) Visa (subclass 132) allows potential business and investor migrants to establish a new or develop an existing business in Australia.
Business and investor migrants play an important role in boosting economic activity and industry productivity and contributing to job creation. NSW government have acknowledged this and expect to attract more business and entrepreneurs to Sydney and regional New South Wales, through the implementation of the change of processing time. This factsheet guides investor migrants through the migration journey. This makes it easier to understand the process and will answer some of the common questions people have about the NSW Business and Investor Migration Program. The factsheet covers; subclass 188/888 Business Innovation and Investment, 132 Business Talent, 405 Investor Retirement, 892 Business Owner and subclass 893 visas Business Investor.
