2017 Australian Migration Breakdown22 March 2017
The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has set aside 190,000 available places for Australia's migration programme. This is in line with previous migration quotas. The breakdown of these available places are as follows:
- 128,500 places will be available for Skilled Migration.
- 57,400 places for Family Migration.
- 565 places for Migration under the Special Eligibility Stream of the managed Migration Program
Temporary visas such as visitor visas, student visas, working holiday visas and subclass 457 Temporary Work (Skilled) visas are not included in the annual planning levels.
